Make yourself at home.
Before installation
You need your own HTTPS WordPress site, administrator access and a backup. The tested environment is WordPress 7.1, PHP 8.4 with Sodium and GD, and MariaDB 11.8. Other versions have not been certified. Start on a staging copy if your site already has content.
Install your packages
- Download Core from the shop or your purchase page.
- In WordPress, open Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin. Upload the Core ZIP and activate it.
- For Pro or Kit, upload and activate the Pro ZIP after Core.
- Kit: open Appearance → Themes → Add Theme → Upload Theme, upload Midnight and activate it.
- Open StreamerLoft setup, add your creator profile and schedule, preview privately, then publish. Existing pages are preserved; changing the homepage needs an explicit choice.
Connect Twitch
Use your own application in the Twitch developer console. In StreamerLoft → Twitch API, enter its Client ID and Secret. Then configure your channel and select real mode. Never send credentials in a support ticket. The WordPress integration uses application credentials; connecting the separate Codex creator tool is not required to use the WordPress kit.
Visitors choose whether to load Twitch players. Narrow screens use an external Twitch link. Your own site needs its own privacy information for integrations you enable.
Updates
Install Core 0.3.0 or later, Pro 0.2.1 or later and Midnight 0.1.1 or later once by uploading their ZIPs and choosing to replace the installed package. Then create an update key on your purchase page and save it in WordPress → StreamerLoft → Updates. WordPress will discover releases and install them through its normal Updates screen. Core updates are free; paid package downloads require an active twelve-month purchase period. Back up before updating. You can replace or revoke your update key on the purchase page. Your installed GPL software keeps working after expiry. Manual ZIP downloads remain available.
Renewal
There is no automatic renewal. After your period ends, buy the same package again in the shop: Pro €39 or Website Kit €79, including applicable VAT. This starts a new twelve-month period at payment; unused time from an earlier purchase is not added. Use the new order’s update key. Existing software keeps working if you choose not to renew.
What the demos show
The design demo uses fictional artwork. Real clips use neutral covers before playback, and containers narrower than 400 pixels open Twitch externally. The livvux practice example shows the real-player flow without implying an independent customer endorsement.
Support & refunds
Email [email protected] with your order reference, WordPress/PHP versions and reproduction steps. Product support covers installation and reproducible product defects for one website. Hosting administration, custom design and third-party account problems are outside the package. Never include passwords, API secrets or customer data.
